“The bathroom had mold which had me sneezing. Historic doesn't have to mean unkept. Friendly enough but quality not quite there”

“Upgraded to the Studio. Good communication, lovely accommodation with well appointed clean kitchen and bathroom. Friendly, welcome from the owner. ”

“El hotel, personal y ubicación de lujo ”

“Nobody waited for me; I couldn't make the check-in because no one was there. I was alone in the middle of the night without any help. Nobody replied on the phone, and Hotels.com couldn't even refund me. It was a complete disaster and a lack of respect in all senses. Everyone provided horrible service, and I’m disappointed. The hotel looks terrible, and the staff is not professional at all. I had to book another hotel, and nobody replied to my messages. It is an awful experience; don't go to that...

“Guido was very helpful and accommodating, nice large room with en suite. Ideal location for exploring Cambridge being only a short walk away from the river. Facilities in room included a mini fridge which was well stocked with complimentary items. Really quiet as well, slept well every night. Thanks Guido and family! Chris & Lauren”

“Excelente hotel. Una sorpresa en el pequeño pueblo de Bury St Edmunds la limpieza, el cuarto y el desayuno. Muy recomendable. ”

“Family room booked for three adults. Arrived to find two single beds. Booking confirmation states someone would be there to greet us. No-one was around. Fortunately we got through to somebody by phone and were able to get into the room but they were not able to provide us anywhere to stay for the three adults we had booked and paid for. The floor, bedding and toilet were clean. However, the windows were covered in cobwebs, the chairs were stained, there were not enough cups for all three of us,...

“Absolutely first class in every way. Staff brilliant. Food excellent. Rooms and facilities spot on. Location great.”

“Excellent Breakfast - continental and cooked. Rooms are quaint - Wooden beams and low ceilings in places, and floors have unevenness of old floors. Staircases are steep and narrow. Rooms have plenty of space. Our room had a bath and shower attachment but other rooms have shower so one might need to ask if you have a preference. Very helpful staff. Dinner was good but a little pricey (maybe that was par for the area?). Outside area was beautiful - on the cricket green. Lots of parking space...

“A fab place! :)”

“Zona ruidosa de Estudiantes. Personal no te atiende por teléfono...”
