Vacations Close To Great 4-D Movie Ride

Our stay at Gingerhill Farm in Hawaii was a truly unique experience and the perfect retreat. If you're looking for something comfortable and memorable outside of the traditional resort stay, this is it. The outdoor shower and open-air kitchen were absolute highlights—they made us feel immersed in the beautiful surroundings while still having everything we needed. The property is filled with lush gardens, blooming ginger, and vibrant tropical plants that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved spotting the friendly geckos throughout the property, which added to the authentic island experience. A wonderful bonus was discovering the beautiful artwork by Mayumi Oda displayed throughout the property. Her vibrant, nature-inspired prints complemented the peaceful setting perfectly and added another layer of inspiration to our stay. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay, Gingerhill Farm is a wonderful choice!

We had three issues with our stay: The Outrigger is adding a Dukes restaurant -so there was lots of construction noise and debris. Would have been nice if this was disclosed. The Outrigger’s real name is the Outrigger Resort and Spa - but there was no Spa. Just a hotel room that was converted to a Spa. That is not that the same as a real Spa. Would have been nice is this was disclosed. The air conditioner stopped working on two of our four nights - so it was uncomfortably warm those nights. No apology or compensation offered by the front desk, when I complained.

Helped us a lot during hurricane. Kept power

The cleaners had the condo immaculate. All appliances, counters, floors, bathrooms, etc were spotless. Sofa and chairs looked new… no stains or wear. The staff at check-in were very helpful! They had great suggestions for beaches and sea turtle viewing. Staff were non-intrusive, yet always available for questions as they worked to maintain the property. Pools and hot tubs were well maintained, warm, and appealed to multigenerational vacationers. I hope to return in the future!

There was bugs in the room and bed , changed to another room bugs again. review said there are fresh muffins and bread in the morning, there was nothing , the wifi was terrible, tv did not work , no coffee. it was the worst experience. also, no Air conditioning

The resort was nice. The ocean front condo had a great view. There isn’t really much to do 9n “the resort”except swim. There were two pools. There is a small grab and go for food at the family pool but they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and only open 8a-12p. When we asked about a good place to eat dinner we were handed a pamphlet which listed the poolside cafe that was closed that day and offered no suggestions. Although the staff was friendly, they offered no information on a plan for the hurricane and just said we aren’t being told to do anything yet. They handed out a paper that just listed hurricane categories.
