“I find it very difficult to review this. The staff were absolutely lovely as were the other guests. However, I felt very misled by the advertising. It was extremely noisy (I was woken at 4 am by footsteps above my room and as the people upstairs were dancers, I cannot think anything except it has zero sound insulation). I also didn’t realize it would not provide towels. I paid £95 and then was expected to pay £2 for a towel. Breakfast included was rice crispies or oats. Completely misleading...

“Lovely cottage in the Main Street of Haworth, within walking distance of the Brontë parsonage. The cottage was cosy, beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean - it’s spread over 3 floors. We had a very comfortable stay and the owner was very helpful, communicating all the essential info to us by email beforehand. Would recommend ”

“Another excellent stay at the Hobbit host is very friendly and nothing too much trouble if you have any questions. Rooms are spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Car park right outside the door with ample parking. This time we had a ground floor room but still a lovely view of the valley. The porridge pots and croissants are a lovely touch. Also we were celebrating our anniversary and was given early check in and late check-out which was a great gesture. Will definitely be back”

“Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early.”
