Great location and the staff were fantastic, especially Lucy. The room was exceptionally clean with lots of amenities but the mattress wasn’t that comfortable. Would stay again on a different bed. Good value for the area and great breakfast.

The Old White Lion was a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful; the restaurant has a vegan burger on the menu, which made things easy for me; and the view out my bedroom window onto the moors was very cool. The Inn is steps away from the BrontĂ« Parsonage, as well as the public footpath that leads onto the moors. The Main Street of Haworth is lovely, but the walk to the BrontĂ« waterfall is a memory for life. I did it early—wanting to see the sunrise on the moors—and it was otherworldly. The beginning of the path is a two minute walk from the Inn. I loved it here.

A Warm Welcome

Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment.

We parked easily and could keep the space all the next day too. I left a dress in the wardrobe and the staff put a note on my car so I was able to collect it. The dinner and breakfast were great and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely comfortable beds. Absolutely nothing to dislike at all.

The Old White Lion

The old white lion was a comfortable stay but did have creaking floorboards and thin walls ! However the staff were absolutely great Peggy on reception is very professional. Evening meals were excellent and good value. Bar staff Joe and Max were excellent. Breakfast also was good with a reasonable selection. All in all a great stay with close proximity to Main Street and convenient parking at the hotel. Not forgetting Lucy and Vicky who also were very helpful.

Wonderful

I really enjoyed everything. For Americans, I'd say that the space is less than what we tend to be used to (unless from the Northeast), which is again, perfectly fine. The only think I'd probably recommend are more hooks to hang things (I always find this in lodging) and perhaps a washcloth in addition to towels.

The staff were excellent, the room and bathroom very clean but the hotel needs to step up and to renovate and upgrade the rooms, also a small point but no tissues provided and a small bottle of water for the first night but not on the second night, and the food could be better
