“It is winter in Australia. The motel had the air con heat set at 10 degrees, no phone in the room. So no way of getting help at 3 a.m in the morning. The temperature was 5 degrees that night. No extra blankets either. I also called the motel before arriving and said I would pay in cash when we arrived. They used my credit card before we arrived, was not happy about that. Overall disappointed. For a small country town $203 a night ( standard motel room) I would not stay there again”

“I was greeted at reception by two very friendly jack russells, a short walk down the veranda bought us to our basic room. 5 quite steep steps down to where we parked our car, which is under cover and outside our room. There is a pub that serves food just minutes walk up the road or a RSL across the road. Free toiletries, a fridge, a microwave, kettle and crockery were all provided along with towels.
