“It is winter in Australia. The motel had the air con heat set at 10 degrees, no phone in the room. So no way of getting help at 3 a.m in the morning. The temperature was 5 degrees that night. No extra blankets either. I also called the motel before arriving and said I would pay in cash when we arrived. They used my credit card before we arrived, was not happy about that. Overall disappointed. For a small country town $203 a night ( standard motel room) I would not stay there again”

“I was greeted at reception by two very friendly jack russells, a short walk down the veranda bought us to our basic room. 5 quite steep steps down to where we parked our car, which is under cover and outside our room. There is a pub that serves food just minutes walk up the road or a RSL across the road. Free toiletries, a fridge, a microwave, kettle and crockery were all provided along with towels. “The room was amazing. Very clean and tidy and easy to get your bearings in. Comfy bed, great amenities and fantastic staff. Will highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Toowoomba”

“Small but very well designed rooms with all the necessary modern accoutrements.”

“The plumping needs fixing. The shower squeals and has very little pressure, the hot tap in kitchen needs a new washer. The pillow situation is strange, they are two in one and super thick, and no spares for us side sleepers! The single bed is completely bowed in the middle. The kitchen was great but I still wouldn’t stay again. ”
