The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. “Very comfortable and friendly”

“Historic Inn with alot of charm. Room & attached bath were very nice. Only issue headboard & carpet dated with stains. Bed & linens very comfortable for our 2 night stay. Staff amazing & very friendly & helpful. Breakfast exceptional. Food served here is amazing & wait staff above & beyond. Had breakfast here both days & dinner 2 nights. Sunday roast incredible. Rooms are above bar & restaurant but very minimal noise.”

But unfortunately, there were so many problems: * Room was cold : really cold, and there was only a sheet on the bed.
