“Stayed here for one night on my way down from Edinburgh to London. The hotel is pet friendly. There is £15 charge, not sure if it’s per night or once time charge. The view from the bar is nice. HOWEVER, the lower level rooms (twin rooms) smells terrible. It smells damp. I had to ask to be moved to another room. Even the “upgrade” standard double room smelled damp. “Lovely modern hotel with nice rooms but never saw any staff at the desk throughout the stay, also wouldn't recommend staying in the summer, the windows are sealed shut and our room was very uncomfortable because of the heat. Easily one of the worst nights I've had in a hotel because of the heat and humidity in the room despite leaving the fan on, don't know how they expect people to cope in the summer.”

“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and had modern facilities. The hotel was in a good location for visiting sites in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent.”

“The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place.”
