A lovely and newish, clean and modern hotel in the city centre of Glasgow but away from the noisiest areas. I had a bit of an issue when checking in as the larger premium room I’d booked had slightly noisy and malfunctioning air con and the room felt very hot (one of those hotels with non opening windows) The assistant manager however was v helpful as was his colleague, and they did show me one other room - the hotel was basically fully booked - which was a fair bit smaller, but had working air con - which was very quiet too - so I did eventually agree to move and they’d agreed to sort a discount/refund for the different room category. The rooms have a small kitchenette with fridge and coffee machine - slightly unusual mechanism and not as straightforward as a nespresso machine, but once I’d worked it out it was fine. Bathroom was spotless and great shower pressure etc. The beds are comfortable and the bedding of a good quality. No iron in the room but they do have a steamer in the drawer which is just as good. They do a grab & go breakfast for £10 which looked fine but I didn’t take advantage of that. I would stay here again and the friendly and helpful management and staff really helped when I had an issue.
