Vacations Close To Gatlinburg Space Needle

The hotel is ok, not the best but not the worst. Upon arriving I had to wait awhile for the staff was busy on the phones, when it was my turn there was no hello, smile nothing. I didn’t feel very welcomed. They weren’t rude but just not friendly either. Same with check out, no smile no saying thank you they just took my key and said ok. The room was ok, the air conditioner was very loud, it was hard to sleep. The pool area is very nice, breakfast was fine. Overall our stay was ok for one night.

Was a great place to stay right in the middle of the action , plus free margaritas at the pool and great places to eat in a very short walk

The best thing about this motel was the location. It was just off the parkway with traffic lights to get you out into traffic, with two ways to exit, either directly on the parkway or on to Wears Valley Road. There were restaurants within walking distance. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the ferris wheel at The Island from our balcony. The staff was very nice at both check-in and check-out. The room looked clean on the surface, but it had a musty odor, so I went and bought air fresher to use while there. When we went in to the room there were huge gnats flying around in the bathroom and entry. We called the front desk and they poured bleach down the drains, and that helped for that day, but the gnats came back. We just lived with them the rest of the time. The beds were very comfortable, and even with being close to the parkway it was pretty quiet. We didn't use wi-fi. I just used the hotspot on my phone when I wanted to use my laptop. There was a large group from two tour busses, so the breakfast room was crowded and we ended up not doing motel breakfast. But I did get coffee and it was not very good. Overall for the price it was an ok place to stay.

Room was great nice and clean soft bed very quiet and good location to eat and shop. Just didn't receive maid service but one day out of five and had to call the front desk to get that day other then that it was very nice
