“Room is clean and quiet. Air-conditioner is definitely a plus during heatwave. We were able to have a nice sleep after a day long activity. Staff are very helpful to accommodate our request. On Sunday, the bar closes a bit earlier, so we missed the last order time. But we were able to have a dinner at the bar on a weekday. The food quality is superb in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again next year.”

“This property is absolutely unique, a 15th century building restored and updated in a charming way. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious! Thank you for the loveliest stay of our holiday.”

“Really enjoyed our stay, we felt the spa but it was quite crowded only small number of sunbeds. Room was nice but it was quite dated.”

“I am somewhat biased, as this is where my dog and I prefer to stay on our fairly frequent visits to this lovely part of our country - I'd wholeheartedly recommend it for their hospitality, their food, the excellent breakfasts, some proper beer on tap, comfortable rooms (I've tried three of the six to date, all very comfortable, each with it's own character). I'd recommend their Wednesday wings and Sunday carvery in particular. I won't say more this time, as I suspect I'll have more to say next...

“Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later.”
