“Ok. You get what you pay for. Good enough for an overnight stay on your travels. To the truckies who use their exhaust brakes at 3am. Thank you for the fantastic nights sleep. Great if you’re a truck spotter. No so good for anyone who wants to sleep.”

“Located off the main highway through Rockhampton, the hotel is a lovely heritage hotel which has been renovated and well maintained. High ceilings, nice and clean and well priced for Rockhampton I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who can appreciate an older building. The staff were helpful and there was a security guard on duty overnight so we felt our car would stay safe. The area is still busy with some road noise and near a train yard, but we slept very well in the...

“No bedside lamps had to get out of bed and turn all the lights on by the door The curtains were way to long and dragging on the floor. Soft saging bed. Parking very tight.”

“The room is good. Overall, we only stayed for 1 night. Lots of parking. Beds are comfortable. Staff was awesome and helpful as he helped us to set up the sofa bed.”

“The room was lovely. We were given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom which we didn’t need but was appreciated, The room has a memory foam mattress which was very comfortable. The place was roomy with place to put suitcases & place to make breakfast. There were Tim Tams in kitchen station & complimentary water & dairy milk chocolate in fridge. The bathroom had a jet tub/shower combination which was great but may be a bit difficult for an older person to get into; we didn’t have any issues with it though....

“Very handy place to stay and staff always helpful. Good meals too as reasonable prices”

“I’m writing this review because I don’t feel the current reviews accurately reflect the condition of the property. The host was genuinely lovely, friendly and very helpful, and the linen and towels were clean, which I appreciated. However, the motel itself is quite run down and in need of some serious maintenance. There were marks and dirt on the walls, DIY repairs and patched holes, chipped and missing sections, very tired furniture and frayed carpet throughout. There also wasn’t a proper...
