Vacations Close To Gallagher-Iba Arena

Let’s start with the good. The hotel was gorgeous, beautifully maintained while preserving the historic beauty. Now for the bad. We arrived at 5:30 pm, when check in started at 4 pm, our room wasn’t officially released to us until 5:55. There was not even an apology offered, until my husband brought up that this was quite unfortunate, being that we only had the room for a total of 20 hours, so we were missing out on quite a chunk of the time we paid for. He was given only a voucher for 1 free drink in the cafe at that point. 1. When there were 4 of us. All this was going to do was make us spend more money in the hotel, since you can’t really buy 1 child a drink and not the other! Everything was quite inefficient, from spending 1.5 hours in the cafe waiting for our food, to waiting 10-15 minutes for elevators at any given time. The place is gorgeous, the location is great, but the good definitely did not outweigh the bad for us.

Great hotel if you’re looking for something not quite like the look of other hotels. Unique room set up, concrete floors, cool photography on the walls. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent. Casual but upscale vibe. Excellent cocktails and better food.
