“We had a wonderful stay at Saddlers :). Milky is a wonderfully attentive host. Attended to our every need & was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places of interest too. We had a very relaxing stay.”

“We saw the proprietor when we arrived at the property. He said our room was ready, although we were very early. My partner was delighted with the box of breakfast goodies. The fridge and microwave were welcome extras.. Clean linen, big room, great locality. No negative points at all.”

“This is a traditional, old-style B&B. Unfortunately it's not in great condition. The rooms are clearly part of the owner's house/living area with the reception being part of their kitchen/living room. The rooms don't feel particularly private given you're right next door to the owners rooms. The bed was clean but not the most comfy. There was no air con/fans meaning it was very warm. There was a significant amount of cob webs. The rooster woke us up at 4:20am. Cook to order breakfast was offered...

“The bedding and towels were lovely and clean, couldn't fault. The shower tray left a lot to be desired, along with the shower mat and windowsill. There was no way of opening/closing the windows as they were too high. The same with the curtains. A long bamboo rod attached to the top could help with opening/closing? Staff? Hardley saw a soul in the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was sufficient for what I needed.”
