Vacations Close To Frelinghuysen Morris House and Studio

The location was great and the pools and hot tub were nice. Besides for linens, our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple months. Spider webs and dead spiders in bath tub, cobwebs in multiple parts of suite, and dust/debris all over entry and kitchen counters (I think from replacement of door locks). We had previously stayed here 7 - 8 years ago with no issue. Hopefully this was a fluke. (We didn't complain; we just cleaned up the mess and went on with our stay. So I can't speak to how the staff would have responded to our concerns.)

Quiet property. Convenient location.

It is a classic house that is full of antique s and fine wood working.

The rooms were spotless and a good size. And is not far from Lenox which was our focus. I’d suggest that guests bring some food with them and there is a supermarket nearby. There is not a morsel of food in the ‘resort’. The tv is complicated and I’m not sure why it is set up the way it is. Check with desk if you need to. I would not advertise as a ‘resort.’
