Vacations Close To Freedom Surf School & Adventure

We stayed here one night. The room was clean but unfortunately the lift was broken so carrying our heavy suitcases up the many flights of stairs were tiresome, but not a huge deal. There was clean and accessible drinking water near the room. The town was cute and had a lot of shopping options, though more popular retail than I would have liked. The nightlife was fun too! However, I misunderstood just how loud it would be and where the room was located. If you’re looking to stay out and party with a room close by, this is it!

Good, not great. Staff was friendly. No air conditioning and it was very hot; we opened the windows but that added unwanted noises. Long night.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable

We found a good price for a 4-nights stay. We did not expect to get one of the best rooms but having a room without the ability to properly open a window during the heat of this summer made it difficult to stay in the room. Worse was the fact that during the first 2 nights ( Friday and Saturday) some groups had parties just outside our room, talking and laughing very loud until around 3 am. Sleeping was almost impossible. You may want to think about the apparently good offers for weekends. I would have wished a more tasteful breakfast. If you don't like the Irish breakfast then there is very little to find unless you love sugar.

The apartment was fabulous, had everything you might need when on holiday. It was central to town centre and beside the pier. We had dinner one night in the adjoining Talbot hotel and it was the best meal I've had in a long time
