Old School Motel

Great roadside motel within easy reach of restaurant/bars Stockyards area, fuel, coin op laundry. Really enjoyed the Western theme refurb, handmade timber pieces, wall murals. Rooms clean and comfortable, easy parking just off highway, noise ok with us.

Some small miscommunication with details of stay, other than that, all good. Wish room had microwave, but small fridge met our needs. Very kind when we needed to check in early. Rooms are very clean & spacious.

Good hotel with a fun Texas/ western theme, good sized room with a big bed and sitting area too. Near the highway but you know that when you book it, and just 10 minutes from the stockyards.

This hotel is NOT in the stockyards. Our room was clean and the beds were new but it is right off the interstate and feels absolutely unsafe. The murals on the side of the building don’t help the fact that it is a dirty scary location.

You can tell they are working on making it into a nicer motel, and I give them credit for that. Room was clean, and matress was good.
