“From arrival to leaving nothing was too much trouble. I was on my own and the staff were more than helpful as to where to visit . The food was varied and excellent. Breakfast was basic continental but didn’t want any more. I make what I consider sensible comments not criticism and mentioned these to them. 1 possibly a small fridge in the room in view of current conditions but found out I was lucky and had a larger room so this wasn’t feasible throughout. “It was creaky, noisy, not that comfortable. I had a room in the heavens which isn’t ideal. Promotes parking which is a joke. It’s a small patch out the back which looks like a building site. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly.”

“Attractively restored pub with very comfortable rooms and good food. The staff couldn't be more helpful - we particularly appreciated the fan left on to cool the room ready for our arrival. Lovely walk from the front door to the old docks on the bay a short distance away.”
