“Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake. ”

“Loved this slice of heaven, away from the crowds of Lugano but yet convenient to get to by car. The front desk service was amazing - the girls were so friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was clean tasting and delicious. The hotel grounds are so thoughtful, well designed and aesthetic. Despite it being an old building, it did not feel cold like some old buildings can - Insulation done right! “The property and staff were fantastic! The limited rooms and the spacious property. Made you feel like you had the villa to yourself. The staff were attentive and all wonderful. The multiple areas to grab food and drinks made it feel like you were in a different property. The boat ride they arrange was the cherry on top. Spectacular. If you have a chance, stay in the Varenna room. A perfect way to get your Lake Como experience on. Overall, one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. ”

“Muy recomendable, estuvimos solo una noche pero fue suficiente para darnos cuenta de su gran calidad. El personal realmente amable, las instalaciones maravillosas, tiene una alberca infinity con agua calientita desde la que se ve el lago. Tiene acceso muy fácil al lago con camas para asolearte y puedes nadar en él de forma muy segura. Tiene estacionamiento y cuesta 20 euros la noche.
