“The hotel was well maintained with plenty of character. Location superb, staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious!”

“Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower. Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open...

“The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were given a free drink because it was our anniversary which was a nice surprise. Our room was clean and well supplied but would have been nice to have a better view. The hotel is very well situated opposite the park and within a short walk from the town.”

“How old and grand the hotel was but the cleanliness wasn't great especially when our room was serviced they would make the bed but didn't clean all the furniture and window seals still quite dusty”
