“The Imperial is a large “older” hotel, set right on the waterfront in 4 landscaped acres. The staff are wonderfully kind, helpful, and efficient. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) was very good, especially the breakfasts, with a large choice. We were very happy with and at the Imperial. However, we are very elderly and it turns out that 95% of the other guests were very elderly too, which was fine for us but might not be what a younger crowd is looking for.”

“The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Our sea view room was wonderful but very warm in a heatwave! There was a small fan but the window didn't open far due to safety so we did need our own additional fans. Our only recommendation to the management would be to please sort out the shower. After a day on the beach a good shower with decent pressure and temperature control is essential. Also the shower screen was so small it was impossible to avoid water flooding the...

“Night manager was very rude. No air con in the room and it was so hot. Sheets were dirty. Seats torn. Room not modernised since 70s/80s. Breakfast supposed to finish at 10:00. They told us they had packed it all away at 9:00. Won’t return.”
