“Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room at the back, so no noise from the A66. Room very clean, well decorated , great shower, comfortable bed. Bar and restaurant very good We ate an evening meal, which was excellent. Continental breakfast was included, delivered to the room in a small hamper ,after completing a form the night before. Plenty of free parking. Would stay again.”

“The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. I phoning reception 3 times to ask if the room next door could turn their television down which was blaring for hours. After the third phone call over 2 hours they eventually did at 10.30pm. “El hotel estaba acorde al precio, el personal muy amable y el desayuno y la cena no estaban incluidos pero estuvieron muy bien ”

“Sorry to give such a bad rating because the hotel was fine. The issue was a wedding that had a loud disco and noisy drunk guests until midnight. I only got to sleep properly about 1am and was shattered for the next 2 days, it was a long drive there and back to get to the hotel and I was on a paid course so not a good experience.”

“As the name states this is an old inn. Room was decorated accordingly. Comfy beds with a reasonable sized ensuite. Evening meal was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. All staff that we met were friendly.”
