Really enjoyed my stay, my room was beautiful.The staff were super friendly, also my family spread my grandfathers ashes and had a tree planted for him by the groundsman.the staff and hotel was so accommodating and lovely to me and my family, can't thank them enough. Enjoyed our stay at the castle. Staff were friendly and efficient giving great service. The courtyard rooms are small but well furnished and comfortable, also I thought great value. However we decided to upgrade to a larger state room and the staff were really helpful in enabling us to do that. You can really immerse yourself in the castle experience.The room was surprisingly warm as obviously no double glazing. Breakfast was excellent. If you are looking for a true castle experience you won't be disappointed.

First time staying! I only live 20 mins away but fancied a night away! Room was in the courtyard and car was directly outside! We dined in the restaurant and couldn’t fault it! Staff were lovely as was food! Breakfast the next day - we didn’t have anything continental but had full cooked breakfast! Beautiful castle - full of history- will plan to stay in one of the castle rooms next time!
