“The room was spacious with a big bathroom, and access to a shared living room was an extra bonus. All of the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great.”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“Hotel on first impression looks good however further inspection shows it is in need of updating. Many aspects of the room upon arrival, batnroom plus hole and soap dish limescale and dirty, no aircon, kettle had limescale, tpilet roll holder loose. One lift out of action as was the jacuzzi. Manager was rude, told me to stop talking when trying to address concerns and made excuses when issues raised in writing.. Spa staff nice that we came across. Breakfast okay. “Plenty of parking, friendly staff, Very clean. Limited menu but excellent quality. Let down by peeling paintwork on exterior giving a neglected appearance. Would benefit from a fridge in the bedroom”
