“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

“When I arrived I was shown to my room by the owner who was very friendly, but as soon as we entered the room she noticed the bathroom was flooded. She explained that one of the staff members had been fiddling with a pressure reducing valve and it must have caused the shower to run with the door open. They cleared the water up, but the carpet was wet through by the bathroom door and the room smelt damp all night.
Next morning I went to breakfast an hour before I needed to leave. I waited 45...

“One thing marks down the property. Breakfast was not complete. We went for dinner at the White Hart and they had gluten free cereals. I had to ask for orange juice at breakfast. Also, we came back at 22:50 on a Friday night and asked for a beer. We were refused but another resident was served beer. There doesn’t seem to be consistency on food menus or services across the group pubs.”

“Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal.
Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning.
Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended.”
