“Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good”

We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”

“Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.”

“Loud. Incredibly loud. First, they gave no indication that the room I was staying in opened directly onto the street. The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...

“The inn is in the most beautiful setting with wonderful views . The accommodation is very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and the restaurant is worth booking as the food is delicious and they pride themselves on sourcing ingredients from local farms and businesses. Would definitely return in the future.”
