I’m very disappointed with how my booking and refund request were handled. I had a Sunday reservation with early check-in arranged, but upon arrival, I was told the hotel was full and no room was available. The receptionist said the manager would review the situation and decide whether a refund could be issued. Since the manager was unavailable, Expedia advised me to wait until Monday. I did not check in because I believed the matter would be reviewed, especially since the hotel could not accommodate me. However, when I contacted the hotel on Monday, my explanation was dismissed, and the manager’s tone seemed rude and unwilling to consider the circumstances. I am frustrated because I waited at the hotel’s request. Had I known the reservation would be treated as a no-show, I would have handled the situation differently.
