“The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.”

“My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. “The room smelt mouldy and damp as soon as you walked in. Beds very uncomfortable. Bath tub was disgusting, stained. Bathroom sink cracked and stained. Shower curtain mouldy and stained. Ceiling in bathroom had mould. Walls marked and needed patching. No air conditioning any where in the place. We had to open the window while sleeping as you could not breathe in the room, this was not safe in any way shape or form.There were really unruly guest making dreadful loud noise, banging and screaming...
