“we stayed 3 nights in room 11. it s a small guest house with basic but comfortable rooms . good location walking distance from gangaramaya temple, good breakfast , excellent dinner and extremely kind and helpfull staff. only con: the tuk tuk guy who waits just off the hotel gate . he asks double or triple price for every trip you might be interested in. just ignore him and walk 3 minutes to the main road where metered tuk are available”

“I stayed for two nights at the Fern. The Fern has a small restaurant in the lobby. To be honest, I don’t remember the items on the menu, but they didn’t seem attractive at prices It was empty of people. The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the odor of stale food. It permeated all the way up to the third floor. It left an underlying odor that was unpleasant. The room did not smell bad. The mattress was soft, I woke up with a back ache. The bathroom was well maintained. There no safe...

“Great value for money. Very clean, Nice staff and good breakfast!”

“We had such a lovely stay at Havelock Bungalow! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is beautiful, full of character and very well looked after, with such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of care and hospitality really made our stay special. A special mention has to go to...

“Clean small single room in quiet area.”

“Clean, comfortable and calm. Delicious breakfast and superb hosts. ”

“The room has good air conditioning and the bathroom, good hot water. It's a rustic cabana type place, perfect for its location in front of a quiet beach. Not your city modern hotel. I love to mention the manager, always there for guests, friendly, helpful and a good cook. The ocean water is very clean, the sand is soft under the feet, very good usable beach for walking, swimming, surfing...As women, we feel safe at this quiet, not crowded beach. Walking distance to small seafood restaurants,...

“The room was clean and a good size, with it's own bathroom. The shower was fine and the bed comfortable. The location is great for the beach and restaurants, and not very far from either a bus stop or the train station - certainly within a short, cheap ride by tuktuk if you're too lazy or laden to walk. The only downside was the noise from the train and baying dogs, both of which didn't bother me at all - it was actually rather entertaining to be close to the train track.”

“場所の案内がないのでわかりにくい。しかし朝食のサービスなどはよかった。家族経営だがスタッフは自宅にいるので連絡はめんどうなときがある。”
