“My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The environment around the hotel did not feel pleasant, with many homeless people around the area. I understand that homelessness is a serious issue, but as a paying hotel guest, I expected the surroundings and overall atmosphere of the hotel to feel more welcoming and secure. The service was also very poor. The following morning, my wife and I went for breakfast and there was nobody available to assist us for more than five minutes....

“The RWY is a beautiful spot and you can easily take the ferry from there to Cremyll (Cornwall) or round to Barbican which opens up access to all the different ferries and tours. The apartment was really good but some things needs to be attended to, the dryer option on the washing machine kept error in out so all clothes had to be hung on the clothes rack to dry, not the end of the world but inconvenient. The oven door isn’t closing properly so lets a great deal of heat out and the extractor fan...

“An excellent location and the friendly, helpful staff make this a very nice place to stay. Also worth coming to for those looking for the English hotel experience. Grade 2 listed building, winding stairs, and lots of charm. Breakfast was included and was a nice start to the day. The bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with water pressure despite being on the top floor.”

“What a lovely hotel. The couple that run this can't do enough for you. It's decor is lovely and has a very extensively stocked bar. The breakfast was top notch too. Top tip, if parking outside they supply a permit which will save you some money.”
