“We needed accommodation for one night for a mountain biking competition. We arrived late due to a puncture on the way down. The hotel owners could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The boys were concerned about the safety of their bikes - but needn't have been as they were taken and locked in the function suite with bikes from another family attending the same race. Breakfast on a Sunday is normally 8.30am but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and served...
