“We booked a room for 4 adults and were shown to a room with 2 single beds. We had to show booking confirmation email (using hot spot from staff member’s phone as the free wifi was non-existent) before we were then offered an uncleaned room with a double and single bed, as well as a single sofa bed. Host was very reluctant to give us extra linen for the sofa bed. ”

“Staff was amazing and very helpful. Stephane the manager helped us when we had a problem with our bathroom and moved us to another even nicer room. Very nice breakfast actually the best we had in Sulawesi. The dinner menu could be more extensive and a bit lower in the price as compared with other places it’s quiet pricey. We can recommend to stay at janji laut!”

“16-26 Mar 2018 stay. Nice place, they are making some repairs/renovations too. I visited in 'low season', and mostly the only one there. Staff is friendly and will do whatever you ask. But you have to ask, and I find this is typical for this culture. I had a budget fan room and it was big and beds are nice thick mattresses, not foam. Food is very good, and plentiful. Snorkeling at 'house reef' is excellent. It would be nice if they had hammocks or 'lounge chairs' for 'down-time'...
