"I believe this hotel may have undergone some recent updating. The room we occupied was on the 5th floor and was nicely appointed and quiet. The bathroom was great: new walk in shower, excellent lighting and a magnifying mirror that was very helpful. The hotel had a rooftop terrace with comfortable furniture and several heaters which was very nice for watching the sunset. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. "It was a lovely hotel, with incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very clean, and there were all of the usual amenities as well as the option to borrow (free of charge) VHS tapes from the lobby. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will happily recommend to anyone coming to the area. "
