The proximity to the tram stop (<30m) is a real asset. Either to the airport in 5minutes or to the city centre in 35 - for less than two euros! We were really disappointed that this ‘grand old lady’ of a building in a beautiful river-front location 850m up a drive from the road should have been so neglected and let down by abysmal lack of service. We normally enjoy the individual charm and character of non-chain hotels but, alas, it was not to be. We stayed 2 nights as pre-booked in a premium room. We were checked-in in a friendly manner but found the room - extremely dated in all respects - had not been properly...
