"We booked this hotel for our last night in Sri Lanka and it was by far the most rundown hotel we have stayed in. We booked the most expensive ($260 per night) room that they offered “ beach villa”. The room was in poor condition and looked nothing like a villa. Tv didn’t work and bed sheets were old and room was not clean. Ac blows directly on the bed so you can choose to either be freezing or be super hot. The hotel is on the beach but far from easy access to anything near by. Dinning options...

Apart from there was a spit on the wall ( phlegm ) No television, there was a plug it was a electrical hazard exposed wire, no toiletries . View from the room lovely see front. "The pool is fantastic and the staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The gardens are pretty and our room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning, bed and shower were all good. The entertainment amenities (bikes, golf, tennis, games room etc) are very dated and could use a refresh - but we were mainly there for the pool and to break up the journey to Wilpattu after flying into Colombo, so it was fine for us and what we needed.
