"Hôtel Le Lagoon is located in a very convenient position close to shops, restaurants and the beach. It is clean and well presented. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had was that the ´buffet breakfast’ we had paid for in our package was somewhat disappointing. Having stayed in various hotels in noumea ´buffet breakfast’ always includes a variety of hot options. "Good hotel, cheaper than other options, convenient location, walking distance to Anse Vata beach, Aquarium, big supermarket, restaurants, and a very noisy club just across the street .... beautiful view from my room (304) but if you like the sounds of the ocean with a cool sea breaze, be prepared for lots of street noise along with it. The cafe Babar downstairs is extremely overpriced, go elsewhere for food (other than breakfast perhaps). In general, New Caledonia is extortionate in costs. Save...
