Property is just the way it’s described. It would be nice if guests were escorted to their rooms. I was in the last overwater bungalow and it’s quite a distance from the reception

We absolutely loved our stay we had the best time at the resort only thing I would recommend to improve on is more dining options. We don’t have big dinners and the really only option was 90$ buffet which seemed excessive. More dining options that are not at the bar and served cold would really improve the amazing experience we had!

Property is in an amazing position off the coast from Noumea. Environment is ideal. Food at the resort is what lets the stay down - it is quite expensive and would benefit from a refresh

Swimming with turtles every day

Highlight of our stay in Nouméa. Swimming with pods of turtles every day in the lagoon was amazing. Paddling around the island was delightful. Each day began for me with a 30-minute circumference of the island before a generous, if inconsistent, breakfast. A relaxing, tranquil and memorable stay.

Not a quiet or relaxing property. During the day many people visit the island for day trips and tend to use the hotel ammenities. At night, when I stayed for one of the nights, there was a wedding. Which meant in the overwater bungalow that you could feel the music in your room. No sleep really. Also, the birds are winning in the dining area. The property's "solution" is to provide a microwave cover to protect your food/leftovers. This interrupts your general dining if you are not seated at the table - as birds will with certainty pick at your food.

Incredible stay! It was an absolute dream. I stayed two nights in the overwater bungalows and it was spacious, confortable and an amazing experience. I got to rent a snorkeling kit for free and go see the corrals, fish and sea turtles that were nearby. The staff was lovely and the environment felt safe. I only had the breakfast buffet as far as meals go but there was a lot of choices and everything I had was good, especially the fresh pastries. From the check in, the boat ride to the îlot, the stay and back, I am beyond happy with my stay.

Great spot to stay, the rooms and the island is incredible. Wildlife was everywhere, heaps of birds, fish, turtles and sea snakes! Very helpful staff, only downside was the food, a fairly standard buffet was pretty pricey and room service took a while.

We stayed in an overwater bungalow - wow what an experience! Beautiful accomodation that's nicely furnished and spacious. The water views and sunsets were stunning and the fact you could step into the water from your own balcony was something we cherished. The staff were lovely and friendly. My only critique is the lack of food options, it'd be great if you could order room service or a la carte rather than having to spend on an expensive buffet every night because it's the only option on the island. Everything else was fantastic.

Great location but terrible and expensive food

The hotel and location are lovely, and the snorkeling is absolutely amazing. What brings the score down is the food. The buffet is expensive, and not of great quality although there are a lot of options. Eating mostly vegetarian at home we were very disappointed in the vegetable options, often they were overcooked and tasteless. Fish was served every day but almost always overcooked. They charged quite a lot extra over the Easter weekend but did not let us know until after we had finished our meal. We ordered a fried fish option from the bar which was one of the worst meals I’ve had, fries were stone cold and mushy, most fried items were burnt, and the fried cheese item tasted sour and not right. A lovely place but food options really bring it down.

Best hotel stays ever in my life. We stayed at overwater bungalows and it was fantastic! Enjoyed watching sea turtles swimming every morning from the room. Breakfast and dinner buffet are nice too. Definitely I will go back, maybe next year.
