“Great property with a bunch of complimentary activities and free bikes to ride around. Very close to the Sumur sand dunes. The food is just basic, they could do better in this department. However, it is easy to get a reservation at Kyagar that is right next door and has better food in my opinion. Food was excellent and staff were so cordial it beat all of my expectations. “The room we were given was appalling. It smelt bad, it was unclean, mouldy and badly maintained. It was a dead space. When we asked for another room the staff said the hotel was booked out. We decided to leave. The manager then found another room for us, but it was only marginally better. Neither of the rooms in any way resembled the photos on the website. It is a trick. Avoid this hotel.”

The manager Tsering Chondol is amazing, I would thoroughly recommend asking her to organize a full itinerary, she was so helpful and she really took time and care to help us plan our trip around Leh, so it would fit our needs. “A wonderful place that feels more like staying in someone’s beautiful country home than a hotel. The gardens are full of flowers, fruit and vegetables, much of which ends up on your plate. From our window we looked out onto flowers, cows quietly munching the grass, and the mountains beyond. It was quite magical.
