"The hotel is dated & needs a revamp. The first room was old, musty & tired. Water marks on the walls, very tired bathroom & poor fittings. The 2nd room was an improvement on the first although dated. Staff were friendly & amenable. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful but lacked variety. Pool area was clean & safe, although hogging of sunbeds started early 0600! Overall was a satisfactory stay however there are better value hotels along the same stretch of road. "

"The room smelled of humidity, the bed was full of sand when I arrived, and never got cleaned through all the stay. Wifi didn’t work anywhere in the hotel premises. Sri Lankan Dialog connection didn’t work in the room, it felt like a bunker. Staff pretty rude, except for one single guy. What I ate was average. You are forced to consume if you sit at the bar or use the beds on the beach, even though you are a hotel guest. Definitively not worth the money paid."

"Really lovely property in the quieter and more upmarket end of Hikkaduwa. Fantastically friendly staff, a beautiful pool and modern, well maintained rooms. Dining options were top notch and surprisingly affordable for a 5 star hotel. Would definitely recommend. "
