" A localização é boa, cerca de 15 minutos a pé da Plaza de Armas, um pouco na subida, com ruas tranquilas próximas e fácil de parar o carro (caso alugue um). No geral o hotel é bem arrumado. Há algumas lojinhas ao lado onde se pode comprar um pouco de tudo. "We checked in at 1am and Marcos was incredibly accommodating setting us up in a room, bringing our 2 large suitcases up 2 flights and making sure we were comfortable. Staff even brought up hot water bottles for feet warmers as a complementary (unprompted) service. After checkout, staff stood with us on the street corner as we waited for our ride. Breakfast was delicious and the area is very picturesque. "

"The room was fine -- small, but clean. On the downside the bed was hard, and there was a fair amount of noise. There is no air conditioning or heater -- but the weather was moderate. The hotel is within close walking distance to the city center. But on the much bigger plus side, is that on both days my Expedia booked tour companies let me down, but the caring staff at Chankana Hotel (Hostel) went above and beyond to help salvage my entire trip!
