Vacations Close To Derek Walcott Square

It is on the beach. Some of the staff was helpful, others weren’t.Bathroom had black mold around it.Cleaning service was extremely poor.I left a water glass on the night table the night I arrived and it was still there when I checked out 4 days later. I went to restaurant and apparently they were delayed in opening and staff was just walking past without asking if I need any assistance.Nice hotel overall but staff needs more training overall.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating, especially Derek and Michael. The customer service from the staff at Ti Bananne was top notch and the food also very good. Sorry. I only remember the name Sam. I would definitely return and highly recommend for a quiet getaway. Only thing to be prepared for is that we found it difficult to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. It seems like a design flaw. The bench and shower head should have been switched. We went early October and the floor there were not a lot of guests or activities onsite, but it was perfect as we walked all around and took day trips around the island. Great first visit to St. Lucia and will definitely be back.

Friendly staff

This is a very remote resort that has very relaxing energy and a tranquil environment. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to a severe allergic reaction I had due to the massage oils at the resorts spa. My husband and I had to pay for a doctor to come on site for medical treatment which was very costly. The spa treatment was relaxing and the masseuse was very skilled. I wish that due to the circumstances they could had reimbursed some if not all of the spa treatment costs as this resulted us cutting our overall trip short by 4 days. Expedia package was a good deal but due to it being a package none of the additional nights or airfare were transferable/ refundable.

A Completely Unacceptable Experience — Serious Security Concerns and Disrespectful Staff I rarely write reviews this strongly, but our experience at Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa was unacceptable and absolutely not what anyone should expect from a luxury resort associated with Hyatt. During our stay, our room was broken into. That is serious enough on its own. What turned an already disturbing situation into an awful experience was the resort’s response. We reported the incident on Friday. Instead of seeing urgency, concern, and immediate communication from security and management, we experienced delays, poor communication, and a response that left us feeling as though we were the problem for expecting answers. We did not receive meaningful follow-up until days later, when we were preparing to leave. Even more disappointing was the attitude of some of the staff. We encountered behavior that we considered rude, dismissive, and outright disrespectful. After having our privacy and sense of security violated, the absolute minimum we expected was professionalism and empathy. Instead, there were times when we felt like an inconvenience simply because we continued asking questions about what had happened. This wasn’t a complaint about a slow dinner or an imperfect room. Someone entered our room. We did not feel safe. When guests report something that serious, management and security should respond immediately and transparently. We also left the resort with significant unanswe
