Vacations Close To Delaware Park

This hotel is very dated and not clean. Didn’t look like they mopped the floors in a while. The wall paper behind the tv was peeling and dirty. Looked like food stuck to it. A floor scraper would get the gum off the floor easily. The chair is old and peeling as well as the paint. The photos online did not match the room. Major over haul is needed in this hotel. The mattress sinks in the middle. The pros are the convenience to the airport and the nice staff member we had at check in. We were only staying one night and left first thing in the morning or we would have left and went to another hotel. Ample parking. We didn’t stay for breakfast so I can’t comment on it.

Not the best experience... or room was across from an area used to line up all the housekeeping carts and next to the laundry. Between the smells and constant noise, we were glad to be out late each day. The toilet was the shortest I've ever seen and not good for anyone with knee problems. The furnishing was sparse. Disappointed.

I only give The Richardson a 4 star review because the room didn't have a mini fridge. The staff were fantastic, the common areas and rooms were very clean and it's located in a quiet area.

The room had an awful smell and we were told that we couldn’t switch rooms and that all of the people that clean were gone and we were giving spray to try to get rid of the smell and absolutely nothing worked so we were stuck with the smell all night. We also asked for an extra towel and was told that they didn’t have any because no one washed them.

The breakfast was incredible, the room was cute and the staff was attentive! The only thing that would have made it better was if I could have stayed longer!
