Vacations Close To Buffalo City Hall

Site advertised a pool and hot tub but was told at front desk "there isn't one at this location" when I asked where it is. Hair dryer didn't work, front desk told us to towel dry our hair because they couldn't give us one that worked. Not having the hot tub was a major problem for two reasons. First, any hotel I stay at I make sure they have a hot tub and pool, otherwise I book elsewhere. I would have booked elsewhere. Second, and much more important, my sister suffers from a lot of pain and she was relying on the hot tub to relax the pain. Our stay was for 4 nights with no alternative so each day she was in pain and was unable to do anything outside of the hotel for more than a couple hours across all four nights. One of the phones in the room didn't work either. The vending machine area didn't have any vending machines; it only had an ice machine. The positive feedback is that the room was accessible friendly and clean. Food area was clean. Parking lot was clean. Hallways were clean.

room was clean, renovated. Comfortable bed and pillows . For some reason my room was a connecting room and i could hear person on the other side . Hallways look run down- need to be updated. Door keyless system is old and finicky . If you have key card and phone together - key doesn’t work. Lobby looks nice and front desk staff were friendly , welcoming and helpful. Parking is weird - can’t park in the front because is the restaurant parking - you need to park out back . Can use better lighting for safety .

DO NOT STAY HERE. I wish I had known before I booked that they are being picketed for unfair labor practices. Boycott this place until that is resolved. Beyond that, the hotel itself is in bad condition - our fridge didn't work. The bathtub didn't drain. It's overdue for a renovation - everything is dated. You can tell it was once an upscale place but it has fallen into disrepair. Not the fault of housekeeping or the current staff. Clearly the owners are pinching pennies and treating staff unkindly.
