“no cereals available at breakfast was a first. i've stayed in lots of hotels over the years but i can't remember never having the option of cereals as part of a breakfast !”

“The room was clean and comfortable, we had a good nights sleep and it was very quiet too. The WiFi was a bit slow but we got by with it. The dinner and breakfast was very tasty and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. The staff were lovely and helpful and friendly. There was outside space to and look at the lovely view and we will be staying there again. The area is lovely and quiet too with Whitby close by too.”

“staff dissapear from behind the bar (the place they use as reception, serve drinks and take food orders) for an age. After waiting five minutes without seeing a soul, I pushed open the door into the kitchen to request some assistance, if available. A waitress finally appeared and rudely shouted at me to get out of the kitchen. I tried to explain that no one had been present at the bar/reception for along time hence the need and she ignored me completely shouting again to get out of the kitchen....
