“Great overnight stay. Superior rooms are modern and spotless well worth the extra. Nice traditional pub food served in the bar. Owner was lovely and extremely helpful. Road is quite busy but noise is minimal and didn't keep us awake. Would recommend”

“Esta muy apartado del centro. Pero al lado de la estación de St Leonard Warrior. Una zona no muy buena. El hotel es más como una pensión. Aparentemente parece que está bien. Pero luego una vez allí se nota la falta de mantenimiento y personal. La habitación normal. El agua de la ducha sin presión. La cama bien. La tele no funcionaba bien. Tiene un patio muy mono. El desayuno normal. Lo mejor sin duda el recepcionista Francisco, como no, español. Muy caro para lo que es. No repetiría. ”

“What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.”

“The location was excellent and the building had character. The room size was adequate but the bed was squeaky. Breakfast offered a good range but there was no cereal. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful.”

“There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. “There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.”

“The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a very relaxing, quiet stay after days of hectic sightseeing the coast. The beds were so wonderful! The breakfast was fresh with many options made to order. We had a lovely stay.”
