The city is hard to navigate, and other than shopping and food, I was not particularly impressed. Maybe another visit will allow me to explore more.

Daejeon is a very nice city. I do not speak or read any Korean, but found it easy to get around on the subway and local bus using my smartphone gps tracking map. Note that google maps does work for directions in Korea but shows gps location good.
