“Era bastante ruidosa, no nos importaba que fuera un poco vieja, pero la ducha estaba rota, el secatoallas también y falta de actualización en general. Olía mal el pasillo y habitaciones y las toallas. Hubiera merecido la pena pagar más y haber estado más cómoda en otro hotel. ”

“What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

“Check in was all digital, the response was quick. Nice hotel. The room was hot, though this was expected as it was the hottest day of the summer and top floor with no fan or airconditioner. No lift.”

“Overall, I had a pleasant one night stay at the Walnut Tree Hotel. The room was quite basic and a little dated, but it had the essentials, including a double bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, and towels. Unfortunately, the TV in my room had no signal, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, given the warm weather, it would have been nice to have a fan in the room, as there were no facilities to help with the heat. “The place is beautiful with furniture and decor to reflect older time periods. The bedding smelt fresh. The TV worked perfectly in a little cupboard. It had a very homely feeling. The room was a nice size. The shower lip had some mould on it and the room smelt very musty when we initially went in. I would recommend opening some windows during the day to air it out - it was fine once the windows were open. Staff were really helpful. The room was nice and cool, despite the warm weather.”
