“What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.”

“Esta muy apartado del centro. Pero al lado de la estación de St Leonard Warrior. Una zona no muy buena. El hotel es más como una pensión. Aparentemente parece que está bien. Pero luego una vez allí se nota la falta de mantenimiento y personal. La habitación normal. El agua de la ducha sin presión. La cama bien. La tele no funcionaba bien. Tiene un patio muy mono. El desayuno normal. Lo mejor sin duda el recepcionista Francisco, como no, español. Muy caro para lo que es. No repetiría. ”

“Claverton staff, food, room and gardens all excellent. The functions on 2 nights in function room and beer garden below our room was noisy and therefore took edge off stay hence the 4 stars and would not return in the future.”

“TERRIBLE Experience. We booked a room with a king-size bed for two adults and our 3-year-old child. On arrival, we were told that three people could not stay in the room, although this restriction was not stated anywhere when booking.My husband had to find and pay for another hotel and stay separately from his family. The soundproofing is virtually non-existent The street noise was awful, and there were already earplugs in the room. Other guests were complaining about the noise too. We will...

“The room was really poor. A 'cosy double' turned out to be a tiny room where the double bed was tight in the corner with no room for a second bedside table. This meant that one person was sleeping next to the wall which makes getting out for the loo in the night difficult and could disturb the other sleeper. What made this so appalling was that I was charged £240 for the room which was extortionate in the extreme for such a tiny room. I feel I have been fleeced.”
