Vacations Close To Kerid Crater

Très bien situé à 15 minutes de Reykjavik et des routes principales. Gentillesse du personnel. Grand stationnement. Excellent petit déjeuner. Chambre propre. Petit point négatif: l’eau de notre douche se répandait à l’extérieur de la douche. Nous avons dû mettre une serviette par terre pour la retenir.

The issue was they gave us a room which looked like an attic with slanted ceiling hitting our heads in the bedroom and bathroom area. Access to these rooms are terrible. The bathroom had a tub which sat right below the slanted ceiling and we had to be hunchback of Notre Dame the whole time. Taking a shower was the biggest challenge. They didn’t inform there is no ac in the room and it was very hot in the room. Understand there is no need for ac in Iceland but trust me the days were very warm and it gets really hot in that attic room. Other than that , decent hotel. Location is good. Couple of ladies in the front desk were helpful the day we arrived but rest of the staff we dealt with were ok. Just avoid the attic room :)

The location was good, but the noice level was too high outside and using the ear plugs didn’t help. We were there for 4 nights and on the second day we ran out of body soap, shampoo and conditioner. I told the property management of the situation. I was told to go get whatever we needed from the storage room. When we went to the storage room they didn’t have what we needed. So I wrote back stating that they don’t have it and I didn’t get any response back. So I used the little body soap I had bought from back home but it was not enough for the four of us. I was really upset that after paying so much money they couldn’t provide us for the basics.

Great location for restaurants and bars

It has a kitchen so you can cook there.

The apartment was spacious and well furnished. We were four adults and a toddler and had ample room. The location was quiet yet near restaurants and grocery stores. The is a park about fifteen minutes walking distance which was great for the toddler. Loved having free laundry in the building. It was self check in and easy to use. We also used their service to book a ride to the airport. We would definitely stay here again.
