Vacations Close To Hekla Volcano

We were charmed by this boutique hotel near the Keflivik airport. Our room was a comfortable size and we could walk easily to dining options and to the water's edge. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A wonderful hotel right in the touristy area. I will only say that because of the location next to a few businesses, it can be loud at night. For two of our three nights it sounded like very loud karaoke outside our window making it hard to sleep. We kept the window ajar because there's no A/C which made the noise louder. Other than that, the room was clean and spacious with a great bathroom. The other parts of the hotel were nice too. Breakfast was great but limited in selection (and repeated everyday).

Fabulous spot in center of old town . Many stores and place to eat. Terrific breakfast. Hostess was there to answer question and make suggestions as to travel around town.
